ETFE or Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer used for its excellent light transmission as well as for its resistance to gamma rays and UV. ETFE shows outstanding resistance to impact and his stress cracking resistance gives it the ability to withstand a load 400 times heavier than its weight. This thermoplastic has excellent chemical resistance, even if it is lower than PTFE.
